Adulting Gear: Liquid Leap Active by Acer

October 8, 2017

I didn’t intend to post a review on any gadgets or whatever because it’s not my cup of tea, not unless they are geeky gadgets for gaming and stuff that prolly be posted on

Last October 2, 2017, I got to attend TECHnomy Forum that tackles about Technology and Economics brought by Acer Philippines and Microsoft Philippines. They also introduced to us their latest gaming rig, the Predator Triton 700 which you can read on my geek blog.

As a token, we were given a Liquid Leap Active by Acer which is a fitness band with a bit of smartwatch functionality. As an adult currently struggling in adult, I believe that the most important thing to watch is not my savings or my career but health.

The problem here is I don’t like wearing any accessories at all. I’m lowkey because I’m a bit careless. I wore a 20-something karat ring but I lost it while swimming, I can’t sleep wearing earing. The last time I wore a watch was when I was in the third grade, I always forget that I am wearing a wristwatch and ended up soaking wet. This time I might consider being extra careful because I decided to wear this Liquid Leap Active fitness band by Acer.

Technology’s Role in Economics

October 4, 2017

Technology plays a vital role right now in our fast-paced world. I remember during our class on Economics, my Professor said that technological advancement and economic growth are related. Just take a look at Japan right now.

Technology adoption and transformation play a vital role in boosting the competitiveness of local business and industries, specifically the burgeoning MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises sector. This is the clear message of Acer Philippines’ TECHonomy Forum.

Acer Philippines and Microsoft Philippines brought TECHonomy to Cebu last Monday for its second stop after a successful launch Manila recently.

Watsons #Hairgoals: Get that dream hair!

May 25, 2017

Ever came to a point where having a plain black hair feels so boring? I felt it. As a Filipina, I have my jet black, straight hair ever since. Not that I’m complaining, I love how I can style any style I want, long, short, curly, shaggy. But yes, I came to a point where having a black hair feels so plain.

It was last year when I decided to be braver and ticked off one of the things on my bucketlist—color my hair. I went to a salon but wasn’t satisfied with the results so I did a DIY color my hair. I never felt so liberating in my life. I remember one of my friends in the province said to me this when she saw me for the first time after coloring my hair,  “Does your mom agree with what you did to your hair?” I just replied that I didn’t ask for her permission and laugh it out. I think this is one of a perks of being a member of a traditional Filipino family, you have to ask permission of what you want to do even if you’re already a working young adult. But gladly, my Mom was not shocked; she even liked what my new hair color is. Months later, I decided to chop it off because summer and mom was not happy about.

Here’s a glimpe of my colored hair.

Anyway, I feel like coloring my hair once again. Blonde, rose gold, ultra dark brown, ash brown. How about, pastel ones and those bold, bright colors. I always dreamed of having a dark blue locks. Did you guys know that hair coloring is easy to do? Just get yourself the right products and viola! Hashtag, hairgoals it is!

Though, coloring your hair is not the only way to achieve hairgoals. Styling it is one of the easiest ways. High pony? City sleek? Short messy shag, undone waves or messy braids.
Stress not, sunny people.

Watsons got us!

KEVLO, it may sound like a play of words with the last name of the famous beauty surgeon/expert in the Metro Luzon who is a doctor for Filipino celebrities but I will tell you, a not so into beauty stuff like me that it’s different, KEVLO is more than that. KEVLO, KEVIN and LOVELY for long is what their father came up with to name their business, a former Overseas Filipino Worker who decided to stay back in Cebu for good. Still not sure of what business to build but with long research, guts, grit and goal, KEVLO SKIN CLINIC was born.

Bon Odori 2016 Experience

October 3, 2016

The Japanese Summer Festival: Bon Odori 2016 that was held last August 12-13 at Sugbu Grounds, South Road Properties (SRP), Cebu City, Philippines was a huge success with around 22,000 attendees, imagine the ocean of people! For only 20.00 pesos, it is more than worthy for a night of awesome cultural experience.

It’s my first time to attend Bon Odori and for a girl who’s been in love with Japan, attending a festival is a must right?

I came with my kawaii friends Vanessa and Ate Jane.  The weather  was so fine at that night too. It was really an event to remember for me, surrounded by things I dreamed about, authentic Japanese food, merchandise, cosplay and like-minded people! By the way, I went on a solo adventure on Day 1, it was supposed to be just surveying the area and directions because I’m new in Cebu, I’m afraid I might get lost. I ended up buying lotsa stuff on Day 1.

I wasn’t able to take a lot of pictures because I’m very overwhelmed with the festive the environment is. Please bear with my photos.

There are a lot of booths and fun activities that the festival prepared for festival goers.
