Mayong’s Bakeshop and Snackhouse (under Rodriguez Burger and Bread Corporation), one of the well-known home-grown bakery and Snackhouse in Ormoc City had its formal product launch of its Veggie Breads in partnership with DOST (Department of Science and Technology) as a DOST-SETUP beneficiary last September 24, 2015. On the same date, the officials and delegates of 2015 Visayas Cluster Science and Technology Fair and Science Nation Tour had also a project visit.

I used to be a picky eater before. Eating vegetables was so hell for me. I’m the fried chicken, hotdogs and meat is love type than a leaf eating herbi-human. BUT that was like, 6 years ago, college is more hell so I have to eat everything affordable (veggies are so affordable, singko pesos lang takus) in order to keep my budget intact. So yeah, I eat veggies now.
I also remember during my high school after classes, I always ask my mom if we have breads for snack, she would always provide us with bread, my favorite before are the Sweetheart bread (because of the white sweet part) and cheese bread (because cheese is love). Mom’s usual line is, “You like bread so much, you should work on a bakery,”
But I prefer pizza now, Mom, a freaking pizza. Scratch that…
So, imagine, bread and veggies, isn’t it nutritiously amazing?

The veggie breads are the best guys, it’s tasty, swear! One of the best breads out there. The squash filling is heaven! It’s now available on their main bakeries (may vary on location)
